What we do
WE make sure to tailor my nutrition sessions to meet the specific needs of each of our clients. We will help you recognize underlying problems, fully realize your strengths, and adjust certain behaviors and thoughts to see things differently – which will ultimately help you accomplish your nutrition goals!
Our practice specializes in treating clients with eating disorders, no matter the age. We also offer nutrition sessions for those with celiac disease, food allergies, or other special dietary needs.

An autoimmune disease is a condition in which your immune system mistakenly attacks your body.
The immune system normally guards against germs like bacteria and viruses. When it senses these foreign invaders, it sends out an army of fighter cells to attack them. Normally, the immune system can tell the difference between foreign cells and your own cells. In an autoimmune disease, the immune system mistakes part of your body, like your joints or skin, as foreign. It releases proteins called autoantibodies that attack healthy cells. Some auto-immune diseases include:
- Type 1 Diabetes
- Rheumatoid Arthritis
- Psoriasis Arthritis
- Multiple Sclerosis
- Systemic Lupus
- Inflammatory Bowel Disease
- Addison’s Disease
- Graves Disease

Disorders & Discomforts
The digestive system made up of the gastrointestinal tract (GI), liver, pancreas, and gallbladder helps the body digest food. Digestion is important for breaking down food into nutrients, which your body uses for energy, growth, and cell repair. Some digestive diseases and conditions are acute, lasting only a short time, while others are chronic, or long-lasting.

By shifting the traditional disease-centered focus of medical practice to a more patient-centered approach, functional medicine addresses the whole person, not just an isolated set of symptoms.
Functional medicine is all about understanding and addressing the underlying causes of your symptoms, as opposed to simply masking your symptoms temporarily. The three key systems that influence health and wellness are genetics, environment, and lifestyle. The last of these includes what kind of nutrition your body is getting – or, as is the case with so many people, not getting. Everything you ingest affects your health for better or for worse, and our functional medicine services can help you gain control over this critical aspect of your well-being.

Currently, we test genes, blood, saliva, urine, stool, skin and hair as well as using physical diagnosis techniques that involve palpation, joint range of motion measurement, Applied Kinesiology, strength testing (testing individual muscles) and much more. We review tests and medical records from other providers to find the gaps in health care that have prevented you from achieving the level of success you are looking for. We like a challenge and our practice is built on it. We test hormones, minerals, toxic metals, immune function, thyroid and adrenal function, digestive function and more. We find and treat food allergies, parasites, yeast (Candida) and other hard-to-find infections
